One Way to Discover Love, is to Experience Love, and then Share Love!

Love is to be discovered, experienced and shared. One way we can discover love is to take a chance, open our hearts and experience love and then share love.

As we approach Valentine’s Day, some celebrate this day as a day when couples get excited about expressing their love for each other. Some couples meditate on the early days of their romance and try to rekindle an old memory when they first believed, they discovered and experienced love or shared love with each other. If you believe there’s still something missing in your love life and you have a desire to fill that gap. Here’s something that may surprise you…

What I’m about to share with you is how I began to attract love in my life again, instead of repelling love. Sometime we unknowingly repel love by our thoughts and actions. I share the 3 mistakes I made that caused me to repel love. You can download your copy of my e-book here. But, make sure you continue reading this article to the end.

Love Is…

There was a saying I heard as a child, “If you have nothing good to say, then say nothing at all” meaning keep your mouth shut. Meaning…there is power in our thoughts and in our words. Love has nothing to do with the color of my skin, the length of my hair, or the clothes that I wear. It has nothing to do with our race or ethnic origin or choice in who we want to share the experience of love. It’s very simple… LOVE IS!

The dictionary defines love as a “strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties, an attraction based on sexual desire: affection and tenderness felt by lovers/admiration, benevolence, or common interests, and an assurance of affection.” Isn’t that the way we celebrate Valentine’s Day?

It was interesting to find, at the end of all the descriptive examples of love… It finally shared another definition of love as, an “unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another: such as the fatherly concern of God for humankind, brotherly concern for others: a person’s adoration of God.”

The reason we may have so much violence, hatred, and war in our communities, society, country and world is because society glamorize only one way to express “love” and define it as a romantic love instead of the love for “humankind and brotherly concern for others.” No wonder there are so many acts of violence, hatred, and war everywhere.
