expression of love

I Found True Love As a Single Woman and Single Mom.

I’ve been quiet for a while. Listening to comments about the current events happening in our communities, society, country and the world that we live in. There’s so many acts of violence, hatred, and war – very little acts of love. I guess it makes many people ask…Why…?

While I researched the meaning of LOVE, I asked the question “What Is Love?”

When I first discovered real love, I was going through my divorce. I wasn’t in a relationship, and I didn’t want to feel sad or lonely. So, I created an opportunity for LOVE. Ever since that day, I discovered another way I could express love. I realized it didn’t matter if I was in a relationship or not. I did not have to only express love, as defined in the dictionary, Love is so much more.

Throughout my journey of divorce and finding love again, I discovered how to live a true expression of love. I also looked for these characteristics is my soulmate. I desired a man that would not only love me, but one who would care for me, as well. Just as I did for him. So, let me share my thoughts about love…

My definition of love that there is no right or wrong in love. There is no law against love. The true meaning of love to me, is an act of love, expressions of joy, a presence of peace, a stillness for patience, moments of kindness, the wow in the expression of unselfish goodness, authenticity of faithfulness, the unpretentious touches of gentleness, and the virtuous discipline of self-control. Each day I wake up, I strive to be a true expression of Love!

There is no judgement, no rules… No one can tell you what is right or wrong, because we’ve all made mistakes… When someone asks me to define love… I simply say… LOVE IS…
